Slovenia - A Weekend Itinerary
A few years ago I was putting together a vision board of all the places I wanted to visit in the next ten years. I of course added all the places I've pretty much always wanted to visit - Stockholm, Reykjavik, Verona etc. but then I came across a photo of somewhere I didn't at the time even know existed. The photo was of Lake Bled, probably the most famous of Slovenia's tourist destinations, and I honestly couldn't believe that such a beautiful place existed on this Earth, and that I hadn't even heard of it. Ever since then, it had been my dream to visit Lake Bled, so when I was looking to plan my first post-lockdown holiday, Slovenia seemed like the obvious choice.
